COTIDIANO in Schwabing

Cotidiano in Schwabing - Schwabing has risen a lot since the beginning of June this year. Since the 1st of June you can now look over the Cotidiano at the Gärtnerplatz in the newly opened Cotidiano in the Hohenzollernstraße 11 / corner Wilhelmstraße and let you spoil yourself culinary. In a proven way, paired with fresh and new ideas, the Cotidiano Schwabing offers everything on the table, what your heart desires.

The Cotidiano Schwabing represents both 2. Living room, oasis of well-being and place to arrive in one dar. I was now several times on site and am always thrilled, full and satisfied go home. The diversity of the menu, the ambiance of the rooms, the competent and above-average attentive service, as well as the entire surrounding convinced me on my visits. Just like the Cotidiano on Gärtnerplatz, the reopening in Schwabing - incidentally the former Caffe Florian - invites you for a special breakfast, a cozy date with friends or a meeting with colleagues and at the same time.

Right after arriving I felt comfortable here. A sociable, cozy atmosphere with a small store (coffee, wine and co.) And cake counter in the entrance convinced from the beginning. Behind there is the space separated into different areas for sitting and dining. Light gray walls with chic black and white photographs - specially made for the Cotidiano, light parquet floors, high ceilings, wooden tables from 200 year old wooden floorboards from a historic estate on the Tegernsee, subtle light sources here and there and an open, wide view through the entire locality and the bar in the back area. Almost a bit like in a cozy living room of friends or at home you feel here. No wonder, because the furnishings have been designed with the comfort and tradition of a country house with light urban architecture in mind.

What makes Cotidiano Schwabing special? At any time of the day you can drop in here and find the right one on the menu with numerous international classics. Of course, there is also an extensive drinks menu, stocked with coffee and tea specialties, homemade lemonades, numerous sorts of spritz, ice tea and an extensive wine selection, beers and much more. Those who like to have breakfast will love Cotidiano. Stramm Max, Belgian, French and vegan breakfast with homemade jam, fresh bread and delicious spreads - no problem. The clear highlight: The Schwabing breakfast, which is prepared with ingredients from the Schwabing Elisabeth market. So symbolically, this breakfast also shows that it is for the Cotidiano and operator dr. Theodor Ackbarow plays a big role.

At lunchtime there are also delicious tarte flambée, quiches, soups, breads, salads and a daily changing menu. Even the sweets among you is thought and with all-day available, homemade tartes, cakes and tarts should really be something for everyone. I personally like the "Order & Share" principle offered in the evening especially well. In the Cotidiano it looks like this, that in small bowls specialties from all over the world are provided for snacking. For a fair two to three euros per appetizer / tapas, you can try your luck here and share with your friends at the table - including good wine in the glass, of course.

Incidentally, 110 people inside and 110 outside have space in the cozy location. It is open from 07:30 to 23:00 from Monday to Thursday, from 07:30 to 0:00 on Fridays and Saturdays, and from 07:30 to 21:00 on Sundays and public holidays. If you want to be on the safe side, you should book a table - especially on the weekend. Card payment is possible. Parking a small challenge, but also feasible.

Personally, I personally recommend you to try the breakfast as well as the tarte flambée and tapas in the evening. Get in, have two friends and try each other out. My clear favorite is the lye croissant with goat's cheese omelette for breakfast and the tarte with salmon for lunch. In the evening there are tapas - very clear. I can tell you already: There will be new on the map soon. Be curious.
